Bina Incubator and Tulib Association, organized an event, at the Hilton Hotel in Istanbul on April 7, 2021, an event for networking Libyan entrepreneurial projects, with many Arab and Turkish investors. Experts, businessmen, and investors attended the event. Many channels and news sites attended to cover the event.

 

Mustafa Al-Sagazli, Bina Program Director, inaugurated the event with a speech where he, welcomed the attendees, partners, investors, supporters, and entrepreneurs of the ten winning projects in the “Bina Libya” competition.

 

El-Sagezli referred to the efforts made by the incubator in supporting the Libyan entrepreneurial projects, culminated in conducting this event with many Arab and Turkish investors and businessmen, which means more networking between investors and distinguished entrepreneurs and providing more opportunities for future cooperation.

 

Meanwhile, Tulib (Turkish Libyan Businessmen Association) president Murtaza Karanfil, spoke about the opportunities provided through such events, emphasizing his keenness to activate and facilitate networking between Libyan and Turkish businessmen with startups in Libya.

 

The winners of the Bina Libya competition were honored with thank-you gifts and each of the 10 startups was given a 1,000 USD as a seed fund to enhance their digital and online presence with it. After that ten startups started their presentations in front of Turkish and Arab interested investors.

 

The event was concluded with B2B meetings between the entrepreneurs and the investors. Startups answered questions and gave detailed explanations on their startups for investors.

 

This event comes within the framework of Bina Incubator’s “Bina Libya” Competition for entrepreneurship in which Fifty-nine startups were incubated. After months of training, supervision, and a Bootcamp, a number of startups were nominated for the Networking Program.

 

Networking program for Libyan SMEs not only will include a networking event, but also field visits to one of the largest incubators such as the Incubator of Yildiz Technical University, and Business Information Incubator (BTM) in order to benefit from their successful startups’ stories and experiences.
