On the second day of the entrepreneurial networking program, ten winning projects in the Bina Libya competition visited Yildiz Technical University Teknopark, at Davut Pasha Branch. A presentation of the teknopark was given along with successful startups that had rounds of investment. The second group however visited (BTM) Business Information Incubator which belongs to the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. In the presence of the Director of the Office of Business Development and Investment Relations at (BTM) “Hakan Arka”, who gave them many tips and recommendations related to investment strategies and how to meet the challenges faced by investors and incubators, stressing that the biggest challenge is based on trust between the investor and the entrepreneurs of emerging projects.
Yildiz Technical University is one of the seven public universities located in Istanbul in addition to being one of the oldest universities in Turkey, dating back to 1911. It is considered to be one of the best universities in Turkey with its 10 campuses, two institutes, a vocational school for higher education a vocational school for national palaces, historical buildings. The university includes more than 30 thousand students and the number of the university’s teaching staff is about 1380 academics.
